Bath and Body Works Haul

Who else thinks this candle thing is getting ridiculous? *looks around*

Inyouvations trynna stick me for my cream

One day up Sheraton, after a lunch date with Heidi, I was minding my own business when I saw:

posted on our Facebook page February 7, 2014

Now what kind of beauty blogger would I be if I didn't take a peek in to let you know what was new? That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Since my last Inyouvations haul post, I've purchased two more three wick candles. This time was no different:

I finally have my hands on the infamous 'Leaves'; not a three wick but I'll see what he werkin wid. If you follow me on Instagram that 'Harvest Coffee' one needs no explanation.

You already know how I feel about this Stress Relief line. I'm burning the three wick candle right now. Instant Zen. Recently Nikita of Beautiful and Unspoilt (love that name!) told me she got the body wash/foam bath so I decided to give that a try too. And that massage oil? Mama needs a foot rub.

The Mistress surprised me with this treat for Valentine's Day. This is the only thing I've used and O.M.G! Not only do you need very little for it to be effective but the scent lingers on your skin and in the bathroom. Did I say O.M.G! already? Well, yeah.

My second favourite candle is the 'Peach Bellini' scent. Tiffany raves about this on her YouTube channel so of course I had to check it out. Amazing! This lead me to trying that scent in different products.

Anti-bacterial gentle foaming hand soap and wallflower in 'Peach Bellini'

And who could ever buy just one wallflower? Not me, that's who.

The newest items to me are these room sprays. I've seen them in the store before but always favoured the wallflowers over them. Much to my dismay the 'Warm Vanilla Sugar' one didn't have much "throw". I could literally only smell it when I was close to the unit. 'Twisted Peppermint' and 'Lavender Vanilla' fared a little better. The room sprays are way more concentrated oils in an aerosol can. The directions state that you spray twice to scent the desired room. Lemme tell you, if it's a small room you just need one. Don't stay in the room initially either cause you end up eating the stuff! Not pleasant.

'Fresh Linen' and 'Market Peach' room sprays are divine.

The final item was also YouTube inspired. Leslie mentioned this scent as a "must try" and since I'm damn near collecting these anti-bacterial hand gels anyway I figured why not...

I'm staying away from Inyouvations for a lil while bousie. Help!

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

It's A Dupe!

Long time no dupe.

Corny? I know. I try.

Faithful readers would have seen me rave about the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, a.k.a Face Cement, numerous times. Well, we have a dupe: The Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. I knew it instantly. So instantly that I've used the MUFE twice and decided that it's ridiculous to keep both since they are the same.

You can read all about the Becca primer in the link above so I'm just going to talk about the MUFE version here.
