Organisation and Storage Tools Available From Sort Your Stuff

Sort Your Stuff is my go to place when it comes to shoe storage. They have a versatile range of storage solutions and for a Shoe Fiend like me that's very important. With regards to makeup, they have the standard Sterilite product range and a few more interesting tidbits. You know#TeamModen doesn't encourage hoarding but if you love makeup like we do you're bound to amass a collection regardless. Thus, adequate storage is something you'd want to consider. What I like most about Sort Your Stuff is the range of items available. They understand that not everyone has a massive space to work with; therefore there are a lot of stackable and expandable/retractable products. Knawmean?
Personally, I feel like I'm operating out of a 2x4 so compact is always my watch word. Here are a few of the things I saw that either cater to cosmetic organisation and/or storage specifically or can be adapted to do so:

Holds 12 lipsticks

Repurpose stationery equipment to organise/store your cosmetics

These white desk organisers can be decorated to suit your room decor

Pencil cups can be used to store brushes, lip and eye liners, lipglosses etc.

Magazine/file holders can be used to store large palettes

This 3 drawer tower is small but could be used to store pigments, single eyeshadows or pigments

3 drawer Sterilite

5 drawer Sterilite

This Style In A Box is a pretty big deal

Perfect for a dresser/vanity

Advertised for stationery but I have something like this that I use to keep the products I'm yet to use in the top pockets and my dirty brushes in the bottom. The fact that it hangs is perfect if you're like me and have very little flat surface space to play with

Oh how I wish this could be wall mounted. Who doesn't need a mirror with a light?

This mirror is so solid. If only it lit up :(

The rotating base on this makes it an optimum lil thingie to put on your vanity/dresser

I have found drawer organisers like this handy to separate my lip and eye liners, lip glosses and small tools

Usually used for rollers at the hairdresser but I'm sure we could store some makeup in there

$50 for the set of 3
Ok, these are just cute

There are also lots of options for jewelry storage/organisation. Feel free to give them a call at 421-2087 if you have any queries. Tell Erin I said Hi!

Sunday Riley Good Genes versus Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

With Key Ingredients:

Purified Lactic Acid: One of the most hydrating Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Lactic Acid exfoliates the surface layers of t…

It's A Dupe!

Long time no dupe.

Corny? I know. I try.

Faithful readers would have seen me rave about the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, a.k.a Face Cement, numerous times. Well, we have a dupe: The Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. I knew it instantly. So instantly that I've used the MUFE twice and decided that it's ridiculous to keep both since they are the same.

You can read all about the Becca primer in the link above so I'm just going to talk about the MUFE version here.
