Beauty at Girlfriends Expo 2015 (Part 2)

I didn't realise I'd taken so many pictures....

L'Oreal was also in the house. They sponsored many of the competitions being held and they hosted a raffle. I finally got to met their new Brand Champion in person. Exciting things on the horizon for #TeamModen.

iMart's booth was right next to theirs.

This section was very busy at the time that I passed. I did see that they brought some Orly polishes and tools from the Cala line.

Patricia from Contour Beauty was with the CMC booth where they were featuring Maybelline products. That gift with purchase mirror is too cute!

Attendees took advantage of the manicure services being offered by Summa Nails.

With Bio Beauty not taking part in this year's tradeshow there was no nail polish for me to buy :(

So the things I purchased were handmade soaps from Ibis Bath & Body and Eden's Choice Naturals.

The soaps are $10 each and are wrapped in 100% recyclable tree free paper

The soaps are 100% Vegan. $6 each or 4 for $20.

Check them out on Instagram

I'm really impressed with the professionalism and customer service shown by these two entrepreneurs.

So what did I get?

(L - R): Ibis 'Minted Clay' Body Bar, Make-Up Doll Cosmetics Lip Gloss 'Velvet Teddy', Eden's Choice soap: 'Lavender & Eucalyptus', 'Tea Tree Oil & Bentonite Clay', 'Peppermint' and 'Oatmeal & Honey' (gifted) Thanks Gerri!, Free Spirits Cosmetics Lip Cream 'Pink Star' and Eden's Choice All Natural Hand Made Scrub 'One Love'

Well howdy to a flaming 2020 💣

Ok, let's remain positive and do what we have to to beat this thing.

If you're looking for a brief escape from the onslaught of bad news, #nojudgementzone here. Let me hop back into this blogging thing for a much needed source of distraction and hopefully; a lil product information.

We've never really talked about perfumes before so let's do that:

Maison Margiela REPLICA 'Dancing On The Moon' 0.04 fl. oz.

Description: "Dancing On The Moon is an invitation to an extraterrestrial escape.
The fragrance delicately combines a bouquet of white flowers with a soft mineral side.
White Jasmine flower is lifted by aldehydes and moonflower notes.
As the perfume evolves, the warmer notes of ambergris, musk and vanilla emerge.

Feel the weightlessness of your body slip away from reality.
Your ethereal moves cast pale shadows on the lunar landscape.
A gracious defiance.

This bright Eau de Parfum is part of the Replica Fantasies Collection.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.
