Nude Lips (Beige/Brown based) Part 1

Hold on to your hat folks we've a got a lot to go through, way more than the last category. So much so that I'm going to split these up between lip glosses and lipsticks. First up: lip gloss.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector '03 Nude Shimmer'

Exotica Extensions & Make Up Lip Luster 'Natural Diva'

Gerard Cosmetics 'Nude'

Makeup Doll Cosmetics 'Velvet Teddy'

This has a surprisingly thin formula.

NYX Butter Gloss 'Praline'

M.A.C Lip Glass 'C-Thru'

I bought this on recommendation from lilpumkinpie05 but I don't like it at all. This has to be the thickest lip glass I ever used and it's already gone bad which is odd since I've had some long before this that haven't.

NYX Girls '22 Natural'

Really impressed with this formula and the applicator.

Check out the lipsticks here.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

Unlike my Influencers post the persons mentioned below are all local and I know them. If that makes me biased then you should take everything I'm about to say with a grain of salt.

Heidi Bowen of Moden Makeup

Let's get the obvious one out of the way shall we 😉 I've said before how much I've learned watching Heidi conduct her Workshops. Since then she has increased her skillset, restructured her modules and truly focused on knowledge sharing. Every participant departs feeling enlightened; emboldened to try something they once thought was daunting. No one leaves empty handed. This kindda thing speaks to me because I've attended many M.A.C classes and saw the value only in the products I was reimbursed. Not to say, the outing isn't a good time - especially if you go with friends - but some settings leave you more intimidated than excited. #TeamModen affiliations aside, I can see how Heidi has grown as a Beauty Educator. And fuh my one part I know any session booked…
