Organisation and Storage Tools available from Carter & Co. Ltd.

If you're like my girl Jodi and were wondering where your daily emails went let me just leave you with the old Yiddish proverb: "man plans and God laughs". Hopefully we can still knock out 31 posts this month. Pray for me.

The Sort Your Stuff version of this post got a lot of positive feedback last year so I wanted to continue in that vein. Carter & Co. Ltd. has a long history of doing business in Barbados dating back to 1880-1890. You can read all about it here. There are four locations, the biggest of which is the Wildey branch. The majority of the following photos were taken there but I will start with one I took at their High Street store.

Drawer Organizer $7.88

3 Drawer Organizer in Violet $43.65
I have the Turquoise one and it holds a lot of lipsticks

2 Drawer Vanity Organizer $54.56

4 Drawer Cosmetic Organizer $54.56
I'm going to put lip/eye liners in mine

Single Drawer Vanity Organizer $39.58

Steel Mesh Expandable Drawer Organizer $66.10
I currently have the non expandable version housing my lip/eye liners and lip glosses

3 Compartment Cutlery Drainer $5.14
This could be used for brushes, mascaras or lip/eye liners

2 Drawer Vanity Organizer $54.56

Cosmetic Organizer with multi sized compartments $44.47

Cosmetic Organizer with two compartments and a drawer $40.61

Cosmetic Cup $14.51

16 Compartment Accessory Organizer $23.20

If you really go hard like Youtuber Tarababyz you might need a little something more heavy duty:

Tool Drawers from $256 - $580

They also have the popular Sterilite plastic organizers in various sizes.

I know these can really start to add up if you're thinking about getting several of them. Who woulda thought acrylic containers would cost so much.
Coming from someone who intends to get a couple Delux Beauty Boxes from the Original Beauty Box at $159USD each, I can tell you that storage/organisation can get pricey so please consider all your options.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

With Key Ingredients:

Purified Lactic Acid: One of the most hydrating Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Lactic Acid exfoliates the surface layers of t…

Summer Standouts

It feels strange to talk about beauty products with all that's going on in the Caribbean. Our neighbours are going through some seriously trying times and I implore you to give whatever you can. 🙏

I didn't even realise that this was a running theme. Last year's was especially good since it featured some of my favourite combinations. Like last year, makeup seems to have taken a backseat this Summer.

There's only one item here that surprised me...but let me not get ahead of myself.
Y'all know exfoliators are a must in my skin and body care routine so the Bath & Body Works 'Lavender & Sandalwood' Clay Body Scrub and Coco Shea 'Coconut' Richly Nourishing Body Buff (thanks to the Mistress!) should come as no real shocker. Both smell amazing; again no shocker since regular readers know I'm a firm aromatherapy believer. Visit Inyouvations in Sheraton for all your Bath & Body Works products. Continuing on the Bath & Body Works train, the…
