Stash Status: Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles

In this post I said I'd do this Stash Status not fully realising what I was committing to. I knew my "candle drawer" was getting a lil heavy but lawwwwddd. Inyouvations does really get me.

17 brand new candles.

Three currently in use. Actually there's a 'Black Tie' and Eucalyptus Spearmint in use somewhere around too so that makes it five.

In recent times I've cut down on the candle shopping though. I mainly would purchase one here or there depending on the packaging. I reuse the empty containers to store lip products so I prefer the pretty jars now. I've seen people reuse them to store all kinds of things, package sweets or cookies as gifts and even keep the specialty lids to use as coasters.

I'm sure this list will increase when I've actually burned through this stash but for now the ones I've loved enough to repurchase are:

Stress Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint - "Think clearly as you fragrance your home. Eucalyptus Essential Oil clears the mind while Spearmint Essential Oil uplifts to help improve concentration"

Twisted Peppermint - "Merry and bright peppermint celebrates the season with notes of vanilla and sugary musk in this cheer-filled scent"

Peach Bellini - "A shimmering blend of white peach, sweet orange peel and yellow mandarin with a pop of blackcurrant that sparkles as bright as the sun"

Lavender Vanilla - "A blend of two timeless scents - lavender and creamy vanilla - becomes unforgettable with touches of cedarwood, delicate jasmine and citrus"

Island Margarita - "The intoxicating scent of sunny mandarin, sweet mango and juicy plum with a freshly salted rim".

These candles can be found locally at Inyouvations or Bio Beauty. The sweetest deal is to wait for the Bath & Body Works candle sale when they're $8 - $8.50 down from $22.50USD.

So are you hooked on aromatherapy like I am? What's your favourite scent? Let me know in the comments.

Sunday Riley Good Genes versus Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.
