#LipSwatchWeek | New In

Last month's 'New In' post was the beginning of something beautiful. These #LipSwatchWeek posts have certainly helped me to cycle through my pile (I didn't buy all of these recently) and show me which shades I should really stop buying.

Don't forget to click on the links provided to learn more about the respective product/brand.

rms beauty lip2cheek 'beloved' Thanks Sharalee!

The texture of the lip2cheeks are a little less moisturizing than the lip shines...that makes sense cause you wouldn't want too slippery a product for a cream blush.

black|Up '05'

After being blown away by '25' and learning that it's been discontinued I had to know if that shade was a one off marvel of it this whole line is amazing. '05' was recommended to me by the black|Up rep; it's one of her personal favourites that she enjoys putting over darker colours. When I swatched it I saw why: it contains a nice silver shimmer that adds great dimension to the lips. I'm still going to get another cream from this brand.

Too Faced Cosmetics La Creme Color Drenched Lipstick 'Teddy Berry'

Every time I put on a lipstick from this range I fall in love 'fresh.

L'Oreal Colour Riche La Lacque and Le Matte Lip Pens

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick 'Pepper'

This line has recently been discontinued but in the one they replaced it with there's also a 'Pepper'. It's a gorgeous nude; I don't know I hadn't tried it sooner.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick 'Aria'

I finally found a shade in this formula that I can get jiggy wid.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution (Luminous Modern-Matte Long-Lasting) Lipstick 'Bond Girl'

Jury's still out here. I thought this shade would have been more pigmented. It does feel good on the lips though.

Maybelline Color Blur by Lip Studio Cream Matte Pencil

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer 'Punch Pop'

Check out the first impression post here.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain '13 Marvellous Mauve'

What new lip products have made it into your collection?

Happy Easter! Enjoy and be safe :)

Sunday Riley Good Genes versus Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*
