Mask Monday | Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

Some things you try just for the gimmick. Y'all had those days of putting glue all over your palms and then peeling it off once it had dried? Yeah, me too. Well that's precisely what this reminded me of.

From their site: "An innovative peel-off mask that helps boost skin clarity and minimize the appearance of pores. Removes dirt and impurities, absorbs excess oil and reveals a healthy, glowing complexion. "Peel to reveal pore-perfected skin with the trendsetting Black Mask!"

Let's Talk Polish

Are you suffering from skincare overload? I mean...I'm not, but I could understand if you mainly come here for colour cosmetics. It's been entirely too hot for makeup Fam. Fear not though, #LipSwatchWeek will be back shortly. While I haven't been wearing much makeup I mostly have not slacked off on the nail polish. Especially where pedicures are concerned.

Here are some of my recent favourites:

Essie Gel Couture 'Dress Call'

Look out for an overview of this new range from Essie.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel 'Sugar Fix'

Y'all know I'm a fan of this Miracle Gel line. Usually after I've done such a review I don't buy any more polishes from the range but I couldn't resist this shade.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics 'Cosplay'

Another stunner from this brand.

Color Club 'Don't Kale My Vibe'

This 2015 Oil Slick Collection is the first collection I've ever bought in it's entirety. Thanks again to Victoria for the hook up.

Beauty Oil Woes

With that title yuh should know what's coming; a comparison. Beauty oils got super hyped last year with brands bringing out their version left and right. A big part of the marketing push was that persons with oily skin shouldn't be afraid of these treatments. Word is, beauty oils can be used by everyone. Mainly as that last layer of moisture to seal in all the goodness you applied prior. Some oils are touted as being multi-purpose. Some are specialty treatments. We've got a lot to discuss so I had to break up this oil collection. Let's start with some travel sizes.

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil is the one I've been using for the longest. It's one of those multi purpose oils that's also great for the hair and cuticles...anywhere really. From their site:

"What is Argan Oil?

Our 100% natural, 100% organic, pure argan oil is harvested and cold pressed from the nut of the argan tree. Argan oil (also known as Moroccan oil) is a multi-tasking miracle moisturiz…

Would I Repurchase? | Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Classico

A few years ago Heidi gave me a sample of this product and when I finally used it, I began to wonder if high end mascaras were made of magic. Suffice to say, it promptly went on my Sephora 'Loves List'. Technically, I shouldn't buy mascara until this untried pile is all used up...but yuh know we does can't help weselves.

The exterior packaging states that this is "length & volume lash artillery"; that's precisely what I want from a mascara.

From their website: "Description
