Sephora VIB Haul November 2017

It just occurred to me that I've shopped this sale for four years in a row. 2014, 2015, 2016 and now. One difference this toss; I was in the US when the sale started. So the first part of this haul actually took place in store.

Since I was in a store I was given a tote. And yeah it's January so I have used most of these by now. Regular readers would recognize the Son & Park Beauty Water. Yes, that's my second bottle. I was standing in front of this in The Grove and I just felt an overwhelming sense of dread when I thought about not picking it up. Sephora not shipping to mail forwarders anymore is really messing up my mojo. The only items I haven't gotten into yet are the Sephora Algae Face Mask and the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. Let me know what you want a review on 😊

When I got home I felt like I left a lot of things I wanted behind. Typical case of tuh much tings, too little money. This year Sephora let VIB Rouge members shop all the sale dates (as should be from the beginning) so I caved and added a few more items to my cart.

Well, I know I shouldn't buy more lip products but clearly I have a problem. I will commend myself for not overdoing it on skincare cause I still have so much to go through.

It was time I got a full size of the L'Occitane Amande Shower Oil. #issamust That 'Confetti' Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick intrigued me so I'm eager to see how that looks on. Almost everything else you're gonna see soon in a #LipSwatchWeek post. I say almost because some shades I most likely will put aside right away for future giveaways 😉

Sephora actually had some good point perks.

Although I wished that tray was bigger. Meh. Currently they're perfume samples in it.

Let me know what you want to see a review about first. What goodies did you pick up recently? Have you tried anything from Fenty Beauty? Let's talk in the comments.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

#Anti-Haul | My Brand Blacklist

In keeping with the Brand Awareness series, I was planning to do a Beauty Brands Drama series and discuss just that. The idea was scrapped cause really, I like to laugh and ting at dem tings but they don't truly matter in the grand scheme of life. What does matter though is that we be smart consumers. Let's not fall into mob mentality - whether for or against. Let's spend our money wisely and less susceptible to marketing ploys.

By all means, spend your money how you want. Like whichever brand you choose. Rep whomever influencer you "love". This is just my 10¢.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics

I bought one of his liquid lipsticks; I wore it once and then I threw it away (I didn't like the scent). Yuh see, I actually believe that this man is just an entertainer. He likes to say things for shock value. He likes the limelight...loves the attention. What he actually believes? I don't know if we'll ever really know. What I know fuh sure though is that he ain't tu…
