Suki Concentrated Clarifying Toner Spray Nozzle -

I appreciate the packaging of this product a lot; y'all know I'm a fan of spray toners. Unlike the hydrating ones I previously compared this product contains salicylic acid so it's a bit of a treatment. Based on the application guidelines noted above, I fall into the 'prepare' camp.

Suki Concentrated Clarifying Toner -

I was damn near the end of my first bottle and I couldn't zero in on why I was such a fan of this product. I mean yeah: the spray nozzle dispenses the toner evenly, the scent is nice, the glass packaging will keep the ingredients fresh, the ingredients list sounds propuh...but I expect those things from Suki. Then it hit me one night; this makes my skin feel really plump 😍 The boast "creates over all balance & radiant skin tone" is no empty one. Follow up with your favourite serum and/or moisturizer and prepare yourself for supple skin.

The ingredients listed on the website and my packaging are the same. I purchased this 3.4 fl. oz. / 100 ml bottle from Pure Source Barbados for $40USD. Their write up on the product states: "This natural, anti-inflammatory tincture will help calm, heal and reduce inflammation on the skin. Best used for oily skin, it is also the perfect healer for flare-ups and blemishes including cystic and chronic acne and will calm itching, redness and spots, particularly Rosacea."

I haven't put this one in the fridge but you totally could. They aren't many products that I repurchase before they're finished but I feel this hey gotta be permanently in the skincare treasure chest. For more information about Suki Skincare check out their YouTube channel

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

The beauty industry is really ovadoing it with the releases cause they realise consumers are just lapping it up. We really need to take stock of what we have and be more mindful of what we're purchasing.

Personally I'm at a point where not much excites me and I truly need to cut my eye at the people tings 😁 That and Auntie Mia wanna put VAT on online purchases 👀I dunno how we gine survive bout hey! Of course I still wanna support the local M.A.C counters and attend Beauty Tradeshows so I gotta be realistic. A low buy suits me just fine.
