M.A.C PRO Product Demo

Tonight I attended the above captioned event at the Limegrove branch. The new Regional Trainer Mafe Arrom did a Carnival/Galaxy inspired on her lovely model Ashley. These demos tie into the recent M.A.C Carnival launch. Through this collection, select PRO products will be available on local counters for the next six months.

I'm always impressed with how little makeup Professional Makeup Artists apply on their models. These people believe in building light layers and working products into the skin. The finish is always stunning.

Heavily featured in M.A.C's PRO line are their Chromalines and Pigments.

Mafe created a stunning halo eye with 'Marine Ultra' Chromaline as a base along with 'Reflects Pearl' and 'Silver' glitters mixed for the pop of sparkle on the lid. Ashley's under eye concealer was set with Set Powder 'Deep Peach'.

The lips were a combination of: Chromagraphic Pencil 'Process Magenta' + Matte Lipstick 'Candy Yum-Yum' + Lip Glass 'Girl About Town'.

This demo took me back to M.A.C Technique days (on a smaller scale of course). We were offered wine and cupcakes while we were attended to by the M.A.C Artists on a one-on-one level. There was also a giveaway which Victoria won 👏

The event cost of $200BDS was redeemable in products. I didn't really know what to get but a few of the new Studio Waterweight products caught my eye. As per usual, check out Periscope for my hauls 😉
