Product Rave | Therapi ' Orange Blossom' Honey Gel Cleanser

Therapi ' Orange Blossom' Honey Gel Cleanser - www.modenmakeup.com

This is an odd situation: I'm about to rave about this product but I don't think you can purchase it locally anymore. Pure Source Barbados put this entire brand on sale after they were having supply issues and now it's not listed on their website 😕 I promised to tell you about some cleansers I was using and this is one of them.

International readers, the Therapi website currently has it listed as "in stock" so here goes.

"With uplifting orange blossom and lavender, revitalizing raw honey and purifying extracts of yucca, this heavenly scented non-foaming cleanser is supercharged with phyto-nutrients and enzymes to gently cleanse the skin and remove impurities whilst maintaining the skin’s natural pH balance. Leaves skin clean and refreshed without stripping for a smooth bright complexion.

Balancing – For all skin types. Suitable for sensitive skin.

How to use:

Massage into wet skin using fingertips or with a natural konjac sponge. Rinse with warm water

The company is based in the UK so the website's prices are listed in GBP. For 100 ml you pay 25.50.

The box states that this is "a lightly foaming gel wash" but to me it felt like a cream cleanser. It is very gentle and barely lathers. "Leaves skin clean and refreshed without dryness"; I absolutely agree. This is an effective cleanser that I especially like to keep by the bathroom sink. It left no weird residue on my skin and it smells amazing. The glass bottle packaging feels luxe and the pump dispenses the product adequately.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

It's A Dupe!

Long time no dupe.

Corny? I know. I try.

Faithful readers would have seen me rave about the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, a.k.a Face Cement, numerous times. Well, we have a dupe: The Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. I knew it instantly. So instantly that I've used the MUFE twice and decided that it's ridiculous to keep both since they are the same.

You can read all about the Becca primer in the link above so I'm just going to talk about the MUFE version here.
