Uh Bariffle Ah Empties

It's not only candles getting used up around here 😛

I used to do #TrashThursday on IG but maybe that's not the right medium. Here I'll be able to link to previous reviews and you can tell me if you want to know more about a product.

The only thing new to me was the Murad Essential-C Cleanser. I'm going to buy another of these because I'm not sure what I think of it. The Clarimatte one is a standard repurchase.

Mini Body Lotion empties - www.modenmakeup.com

My body lotion stash is ridiculous thanks to Eden's Choice. Occasionally I do still pick up a mini for my purse. I'm a huge fan of their formula of course; but I must admit that Hempz ones are amazing as well. The Tree Hut 'Coconut Lime' scent did not agree with me at all.

Ok this is months of hand soap empties here. Just like with the candles, 'Peach Bellini', 'Twisted Peppermint', 'Black Cherry Merlot', 'Warm Vanilla Sugar', 'French Lavender' and 'Eucalyptus Spearmint' are standard repurchases. 'Kitchen Lemon' is a staple...for the kitchen 😉 I'm not a fan of 'Watermelon Lemonade' but I do love that Creamy Luxe formula. 'Fresh Sparkling Snow' and 'Blue Skies & Blooms' were the most outstanding.

Shower gel empties - www.modenmakeup.com

Shower gels are something I enjoy trying. Everything above was good in its own right. The only one I wouldn't repurchase is the Bath and Body Works 'White Mocha Kiss'. That Neutrogena 'Ocean Mist' Rainbath smells amazing and I already told you everything from the Aromatherapy 'Recharge' line is worth it. The Mario Badescu A.H.A Botanical Body Soap is great especially if you have body acne. I've turned Kurt on to it and he's now a fan; which we didn't expect since his allergies make him hyper-sensitive to scents. Hautelook 1 occasionally has the big bottles in a two-pack.

Victoria will be pleased to know that I took all these plastic bottles to B's to be recycled. Let's do our part for the environment however we can guys.

Sunday Riley Good Genes versus Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.

It's A Dupe!

Long time no dupe.

Corny? I know. I try.

Faithful readers would have seen me rave about the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, a.k.a Face Cement, numerous times. Well, we have a dupe: The Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. I knew it instantly. So instantly that I've used the MUFE twice and decided that it's ridiculous to keep both since they are the same.

You can read all about the Becca primer in the link above so I'm just going to talk about the MUFE version here.
