Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser

Usually I do these cleanser reviews when I've used the product for a while. Typically a little before half the product is gone. Well...

...this is almost done. I was using this in the shower and yuh know, time just got away.
From the Beautylish site:
"About Brightening Cleanser
A customer favorite that washes away impurities to leave skin soft, refreshed, and luminous. The combination of its proprietary blend of fruit oils, lycopene (from tomatoes) and hydrolyzed wheat protein (from wheat) - make it ideal for cleansing, hydrating, tightening, firming, and complexion control. Gently wash away makeup and impurities with this antioxidant-rich formula. Strawberry Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Tomato extracts help strengthen, firm and protect, leaving the skin hydrated, silky and luminous. Doubles as an exfoliating mask if left for 5 minutes before rinsing.

M.A.C Shiny Pretty Things Haul

In the most tardy local M.A.C Holiday release ever, Shiny Pretty Things was made available when the new store finally opened in The Colonnade Mall on December 3rd.

From YouTube chatter, it seemed like the eyeshadow singles and the Extra Dimension Skinfinish 'Snowflushed' were the hot ticket items. 'Snowflushed' is supposedly a big pan of 'Stylishly Merry'. To me, those thing were definitely mesmerizing to look at but the lip glasses were the unexpected stunners.

At this point, M.A.C items in limited edition packaging are collector's pieces. Right? Right. I was more looking at what would make great gifts.

T - B: 'Scarcely Seen', 'Rosebuddy' and 'Caketop'
Of course I had to get a bullet lipstick...

Matte Metallic 'Straight Fire'
The matte bright fuchsia 'Both Cheeks' looked gorgeous too but we all know I barely wear pink lipstick.

Just like the Nutcracker Sweet Collection they also released sets of minis. They claim these…

Uh Bariffle Ah Empties

More garbage 😁

If you think #beautyblogger life is glamorous lemme tell wha um really is: holding on to trash until you deliver the content.

Peter Thomas Vitamin C Brightening Serum
REN Clarimatte T-Zone Control Cleansing Gel
Suki Concentrated Clarifying Toner
Sunday Riley Good Genes
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil

'Winter Candy Apple', 'Peach Bellini' and 'Black Cherry Merlot' are standard repurchases. Everything else was ok. That Exfoliating Hand Soap smelled great ('Toasted Vanilla Chai') but the consistency and the dispenser didn't add up long term.

If you have dry skin check out that Softsoap Luminous Oils line. I've seen it locally in Massy Stores. The Coconut Coco Shea line from Bath and Body Works smells amazing.

The Sally Hansen is a solid back up when I can't find my favourite nail polish remover. That Butter London Powder Room Ac…

Sephora Beauty Insider Event Holiday Bonus 2018 Sale Haul

Things like this is precisely why I need to go on a low buy.

So the one thing I wanted fuh so' fuh so' was that Hourglass palette. I swatched that in a Sephora since September and it's been haunting me eva since.

Everything else kindda jumped in my cart unbeknownst tuh me 😁 ok seriously; from de time Stila launched their 'Vivid & Vibrant' collection I had my eyes on the Shimmer & Glows in 'Vivid Jade' and 'Vivid Sapphire'. I wouldn't recommend buying a lot of these at once if you're not going to use them regularly because they have a tendency to dry out.

The other thing that was at the tippy-top of my Wish List was the Pat McGrath Labs lipsticks in the limited edition packaging. In usual Sephora style, the one I wanted was sold out at the time I was placing my order. Well it came back in stock so yuh know...I had to get it.

Isn't she gorgeous?! 😍 Sharalee swears by those Boscia Black Charcoal Blotting Linens so I wanted to giv…

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet 10ml

"A bestselling, ultra-lightweight soothing and hydrating gel-cream." That's the perfect description. It's an ok product but I wouldn't spend $39USD on the full size (40 ml). Sharalee believes in Caudalie products though so don't just take my word for it.

Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner 1 ml
Let this be a lesson that you should read the instructions before attempting to use a product. I just saw  the word toner and gone wid my fast self and poured the majority of the contents onto a cotton pad. Smh. Upon reading the back of the package I realised why nothing was happening: "apply after cleansing. Using your fingers, massage into skin." So I tried that with whatever was left but yuh know that ain't nearly enough to form an opinion. The full size retails for $55USD for 130 ml. Denatured alcohol is the second ingredient so I wouldn't purchase.
