2019 Recap

Merry Christmas! 🎄

Well the year, and decade, are drawing to a close and that usually calls for some introspection.

My Low Buy Year went up in glittery flames 😂 You only need scan my Periscope to see how horribly I actually did. I wrote fewer blog posts that ever before. I was generally out of it. Things languished pun de cutting board cause I rarely wore makeup. Maybe the only silver lining was the continued dedication to using up samples.

In 2020 I'm hoping to recommit to sharing my thought on beauty products with you. That means trying the mountain of new things around here and, once again, hopefully buying less. On that note, I want to encourage you be gentle with yourself. Yes, set goals and make plans; but never be so disillusioned by a setback that you abandon the target all together.

There's plenty to review in the stash; so let me know what you'd like to see more of. The few of you that actually still read blogs 😄 Don't worry, even if no one's watching I'll still be here cataloging my beauty experience so you do have something to refer to if that need ever does arise. In the interim, stay glued to our Instagram page cause we love interacting with you there.

Please be careful on the road and enjoy your Old Year's Night celebrations 💓

Well howdy to a flaming 2020 💣

Ok, let's remain positive and do what we have to to beat this thing.

If you're looking for a brief escape from the onslaught of bad news, #nojudgementzone here. Let me hop back into this blogging thing for a much needed source of distraction and hopefully; a lil product information.

We've never really talked about perfumes before so let's do that:

Maison Margiela REPLICA 'Dancing On The Moon' 0.04 fl. oz.

Description: "Dancing On The Moon is an invitation to an extraterrestrial escape.
The fragrance delicately combines a bouquet of white flowers with a soft mineral side.
White Jasmine flower is lifted by aldehydes and moonflower notes.
As the perfume evolves, the warmer notes of ambergris, musk and vanilla emerge.

Feel the weightlessness of your body slip away from reality.
Your ethereal moves cast pale shadows on the lunar landscape.
A gracious defiance.

This bright Eau de Parfum is part of the Replica Fantasies Collection.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

*Clinically tested and proven to significantly improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes. Results obtained via profilometry analysis.
