Product Rave | First Aid Beauty (FAB) Face Cleanser

I purchased a First Aid Beauty kit in December mostly to try out their Facial Radiance Pads that I'd heard so much about. I still haven't opened those but what I have been using since my REN Clarimatte T-Zone Control Cleansing Gel ran out is the Face Cleanser.

From the site: "A MILD FACE CLEANSER THAT FEELS LUXURIOUS
FAB Face Cleanser gently cleanses the skin, removes surface oils, make up, dirt and grime. Its whipped texture transforms into a rich cream when blended with water. It is infused with a powerful botanical antioxidant blend that works hard to scavenger free radicals.

WHO SHOULD USE IT?
FAB Face Cleanser is ideal for sensitive or irritated skin, skin that is undergoing treatment or as a gentle alternative for healthy skin.

BENEFITS
Preserves the natural oils that protect the skin. Calms redness and irritation. PH-balanced to maintain the natural acidity of the skin. Daily use will result in fewer flare ups and reduced skin reactivity.

FEATURES
No parabens, Harsh Chemicals or Colorants.
Safe for Sensitive Skin.

The description in the marketing blurb is absolutely correct. The lightweight pearl hued cream depenses easily from the plastic tube and quickly becomes an even more creamy solution when mixed with water. It doesn't foam a lot but does adequately cleanse without totally stripping the skin of all its moisture.

5 oz retails for $20USD while 8 oz goes for $26USD; available from the First Aid Beauty website, Sephora.com and Sephora stores. This is a product I'd recommend to anyone because it's gentle yet effective. After my experience with the REN Rosa Centifolia Foaming Cleanser I especially appreciate skin care that is fragrance free like this one.

p.s. From that FAB kit I gave my Wife the Ultra Repair Cream and she absolutely loves it. She has credited that product with single handedly saving her skin during the grim NYC winter. Seems like I need to explore more products from this line.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

The beauty industry is really ovadoing it with the releases cause they realise consumers are just lapping it up. We really need to take stock of what we have and be more mindful of what we're purchasing.

Personally I'm at a point where not much excites me and I truly need to cut my eye at the people tings 😁 That and Auntie Mia wanna put VAT on online purchases 👀I dunno how we gine survive bout hey! Of course I still wanna support the local M.A.C counters and attend Beauty Tradeshows so I gotta be realistic. A low buy suits me just fine.
