I dunno what kind of sex those 3.1 women were having but anyways...ridiculous names aside this formula does live up to the volume claims. As I love to say: it brings the drama. Great pigmentation on this medium formula.

You know when a mascara is great when it makes you look like you have more lashes than you actually do; or maybe it emphasizes lashes you didn't know you had. Whatever the case, this baby does it.

These natural fibre wands are great for providing volume. Sadly, they also hold on to a lot of product and therefore become 'gunked up' after a few uses. I watched a video by Wayne Goss a while ago where he suggested always wiping off the mascara wand on tissue before application to prevent clumping. All the professionals makeup artists do it he said. While this may be a bit of a waste of product it absolutely works. I don't see how it would be possible to apply three coats of this formula and not see clumps without doing this first.

The hourglass shape of the wand didn't offer any special benefits to my upper lashes but the flat tip does allow to coat your outer lashes if you use the wand vertically. The size of it does make lower lash application difficult though, so I would suggest using something with a smaller brush for those. The tube opening on the sample was an adequate size. It did remove some product upon extraction(?) but not too much where it would be difficult to coat the lashes. During the testing times I experienced no flaking or smudging with this formula and it was easy enough to remove.

I really didn't want to believe the hype but's something I would spend my money on.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

The beauty industry is really ovadoing it with the releases cause they realise consumers are just lapping it up. We really need to take stock of what we have and be more mindful of what we're purchasing.

Personally I'm at a point where not much excites me and I truly need to cut my eye at the people tings 😁 That and Auntie Mia wanna put VAT on online purchases 👀I dunno how we gine survive bout hey! Of course I still wanna support the local M.A.C counters and attend Beauty Tradeshows so I gotta be realistic. A low buy suits me just fine.
