Nail Polish Haul

After the New York trip last year I broke up the hauls by location. That seemed pretty smart especially since it was the first time I ever visited a CCO or went to a major brand's Boutique . This year I've done the recap a lil differently and this post will be the first ever dedicated to a nail polish haul. I went a little cray; as Sharalee can attest to when we were bubble wrapping each of these at random-o-clock one night. You've already seen the OCC ones and that one from Inglot up close but lemme show you some others I'm excited about. Julie G Jet Set Quick-Dry Top Coat and 'You-Niverse' Nail Color Zoya Naked Manicure Levander (that's how it is on the bottle)  Perfector and Glossy Seal Clear Top Coat Sally Hansen 18K Gold Hardener  L'Oreal 'Masked Affair' LE Zoya PixieDust - 'Vega', 'Cosmo' and 'Carter' Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer 'Petra' That last one was on m

The Makeup Show New York Beauty Tour

May like it does be rough for me and blogging...I dunno why but I am having the toughest time getting back into the swing of things. Irony is, May 21 marked three years that this blog has been going. Take a look back at the very first post here . On to business... I'm still going to tell you about my Makeup Show experience but I believe the Beauty Tour deserves its own post. Please check out our Instagram page for the videos I posted along the way. I first must thank Sharalee for even telling me about the Beauty Tour. When I purchased my tickets for The Makeup Show I did notice that there were additional classes that you could pay to attend but I didn't really look through the events. It was Sharalee who brought this one to my attention. So I called, added this to the itinerary and they promptly got their $55 USD . Mr. James Vincent wanted to share his favourite beauty places and brands to shop in NYC. We were taken to M.A.C 7 W 22nd Street, Inglot, Sephora Meatpackin

Dry Skin Saviours

aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddddddddd we're back. I dunno bout you; but I tend to come back from New York more exhausted than when I left. #PACE Add BMEX2016 - peep our Instagram for how that went down - to that and I am officially ready for vacation. But alas...the show must go on. And what better way to start than to talk about the products that saved my skin. Literally saved it; I got sunburnt two days before I left. So that's tight, dry skin I was dealing with. Then the recycled airplane air that forever at war with me. So that's doubly dry skin. Top it off with New York's nine degree Celsius version of "Spring". You get the picture. I was dealing with some dry ass skin. Softsoap Luminous Oils Macadamia Oil and Peony Body Wash You gotta tackle dry skin from in the shower. No time to play. This body wash did its job of cleansing without leaving my skin parched. It lathered well and smelled great. Palmer's Coconut Oil Body Oil Like
