#MMWC Week Six | Favourite Pink Lipstick

Throwback on a Wednesday 😊

First I'd like to say a big thank you to all the ladies that continue to participate in these weekly challenges. When we share information we help one another and that is very important.

If you remember the #PinkLipsChallenge, you might recall that I was shocked at the amount of lip products I had that fit into that category. Since then I've made a conscious decision not to purchase any more because it's not a colour I wear often. I'm not trying to end up like Victoria who has over 40 pink lip products 😲 She is a different case alltuhgedda.

I had to think really hard about what my favourite pink lipstick was. Initially I would have picked Too Faced 'Razzle Dazzle Rose' or Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting 'Infamous' due to their impeccable formulas or even Ardency Inn Modster Long Play Supercharged 'Twist' because of its incredible pigmentation. Serious reflection led me to M.A.C 'Candy Yum-Yum'.

Heidi bought 'Candy Yum-Yum' for me after I told her that I didn't think it would suit my complexion. She believes that we can make any lipstick work once it's paired with the right shade of lip liner. Of course I graciously accepted her gift but it still took me a while to actually wear it.

Usually I'd pair such a bright pink with a darker liner like NYX Cosmetics 'Plum' but I wanted to see how these two worked together. Not bad atall.

Do you have 'Candy Yum-Yum' in your collection? What liner do you pair it with? Let us know in the comments.

p.s. There's a 'Bad Girl Gone Good' blush available in The Marketplace.

If you're an avid YouTube watcher you've probably heard about these products. Both brands blew up on the skincare seen in short order as expensive, but effective. If you're like me you quickly began to wonder: which is better? Short answer: it depends.

Long answer...

I've mentioned Good Genes a few times before on the blog. This 'all-in-one lactic acid treatment' is raved about by the likes of Stephanie Nicole and Caroline Hirons.

From the box: "Deeply exfoliates the dull surface of the skin for clarity, radiance, and younger-looking skin. Visibly brightens the appearance of age spots and discolorations. Instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes*

It's A Dupe!

Long time no dupe.

Corny? I know. I try.

Faithful readers would have seen me rave about the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, a.k.a Face Cement, numerous times. Well, we have a dupe: The Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. I knew it instantly. So instantly that I've used the MUFE twice and decided that it's ridiculous to keep both since they are the same.

You can read all about the Becca primer in the link above so I'm just going to talk about the MUFE version here.
