Thankfully this one didn't take as long as last year's to arrive. I didn't qualify for the XL bag so this was the regular $75 USD (plus shipping) bag. This time we were given the option of selecting a skin tone so obviously I selected the one for us melanin enriched folk πŸ˜‰ Check out the live unboxing on Periscope . Product Rave | Muji Light Toning Water

Sometimes you just stumble upon some gems... Just walking along the streets of LA last November  we saw a Muji store. Their storage units are very popular in the beauty community. They also retail nice clothing, aromatherapy units and skincare. The skincare range is pretty extensive but this toner stood out to me due its " high moisture " claims. From their website :  " Product Detail Sensitive Skin Care Series Simple low-stimulating hypoallergenic skin care for delicate and easily irritated skin. Uses natural hydrating ingredients that is gentle and effective for sensitive skin. " Straight to the point right? After a quick glance at the ingredients I purchased this travel sized (1.69 fl. oz. / 50 ml) bottle.  The ingredients listed on my packaging and those on the website are same. This carry on size retails for $4.50 USD or you can purchase a 200 ml bottle for $10.50 USD . The LA winds wasn't as disrespectful as those in New York but

2017 Top Five | Lip Products

Yeah this is still going on πŸ™ˆ What I realised last year was that although I buy a lot of lipsticks, I barely wear lipstick. Hopefully I can be better about that this time around . Please check out the linked posts mentioned below. Total oversight on my part; the  Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil '02 Raspberry' should absolutely be on this list. Moving on... M.A.C Vamplify 'Tuned In' M.A.C PatentPolish Lip Pencil 'Kittenish' Buxom Full-On Lip Polish 'Nicole' This lives in my handbag. It's just minty sparkly gorgeousness. I don't know if it actually does any plumping but it surely does hurt. These Buxom minis are a such a sensible buy. Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker 'Candy Queen' Another handbag staple. This ahhh tingle is a step up from the Buxom. It doesn't hurt; your lips feel like their vibrating 😏 It's another sparkly shade which adds dimension to the lips. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb '

M.A.C PRO Product Demo

Tonight I attended the above captioned event at the Limegrove branch. The new Regional Trainer Mafe Arrom  did a Carnival/Galaxy inspired on her lovely model Ashley. These demos tie into the recent M.A.C Carnival launch. Through this collection, select PRO products will be available on local counters for the next six months. I'm always impressed with how little makeup Professional Makeup Artists apply on their models. These people believe in building light layers and working products into the skin. The finish is always stunning. Heavily featured in M.A.C's PRO line are their Chromalines and Pigments. Mafe created a stunning halo eye with 'Marine Ultra' Chromaline as a base along with 'Reflects Pearl' and 'Silver' glitters mixed for the pop of sparkle on the lid. Ashley's under eye concealer was set with Set Powder 'Deep Peach'. The lips were a combination of: Chromagraphic Pencil 'Process Magenta' + Matte

2017 Top Five | Manicures

I know; it's February. But I'm not done with these 2017 recaps so here we go. Last year I got very few professional manicures. Last year I had to cut my nails more than ever. Moral of the story: make sure to #treatyoself πŸ˜‰ Zoya 'Mallory' Gorgeous one coat cream. I believe I still applied two though . Great as a mani or pedi colour. It's still available on Zoya's site . RGB Cosmetics 'Oxblood' Forgive the polish on the cuticles; I was too excited to show the shine of this polish. That's three thin coats with no top coat . Stunning. A few RGB Cosmetics are still available from Pure Source Barbados  (in store).  Essie 'Style Cartel' Somewhere along the line I decided to compare "inky blue" nail polishes. As you would have noticed, the post isn't up yet πŸ˜’This polish is definitely gonna be in there though. It's still listed on Essie's site . Rescue Beauty Lounge 'Footpath' Sadly
