Youth To The People Recommendations

Thanks to Keisha for asking what I recommend getting from the Youth To The People 25% off sitewide sale. The sale includes kits 😳 and runs until November 29. There's also a free toiletry bag gift-with-purchase on all orders, while supplies last.

Firstly, any kit you have your eye on is a must have. With the additional discount it's an even better value; and Rakuten is currently offering 5% cash back . As I've mentioned before, kits / value sets are a great way to try a product without committing your precious coins to the full size. A sample size is exactly what got Keisha hooked on the Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream.

Youth To The People Youth Stacks - All Day Hydration

I've gone through two of those myself and I recommend it for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin. It's great as a last step to seal in the hydration of essences and serums. A must have if you sleep in AC. I'm also a fan of the mist.

Youth To The People minis

I was just talking about my preference for a fine mist dispenser 😆 this one fits the bill. Youth To People have apparently discontinued their Kale + Tripeptide 5 Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Superfood Firm and Brighten Serum. Here I was about to wax poetic about how this absorbs easily into the skin and makes it feel good. Ah well, they've also discontinued their Age Prevention Superfood Mask and launched what appears to be better ones. Dem know wha dem doin. Other samples I've thoroughly enjoyed: Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask and the Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Oil.

Another fav I haven't written a post about:

Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner

Power toner indeed. This isn't as strong as the Rolls Royce of acid toners but that doesn't mean it doesn't do the job. Consider this a step up from the Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic

And the ones I've raved about before:

Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Age Prevention Cleanser

Kale + Spinach Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream

This is a solid brand. I ain't gine put you wrong!

It's A Dupe!

Long time no dupe . Corny? I know. I try. Faithful readers would have seen me rave about the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector , a.k.a Face Cement, numerous times. Well, we have a dupe: The Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. I knew it instantly. So instantly that I've used the MUFE twice and decided that it's ridiculous to keep both since they are the same . You can read all about the Becca primer in the link above so I'm just going to talk about the MUFE version here. swatches straight from the tubes swatches blended out Can you tell which is which? No? Well, neither can I. From the MUFE site -  " Details : STEP1 Skin Equalizer triples the power of your foundation: easier application, optimized makeup result, improved wear. STEP1 is the range of skin equalizers developed to refine, smooth and even out. Our exclusive Equalizer Complex delivers 3 key actions: - APPLICATION : makeup goes on seamlessly - RE

Lip Liner Declutter

I have a problem. Well clearly I have two problems: I obviously feel like I have to try every lip liner on the market and I take too long to actually try them. Evidenced by taking stock of the above captioned category and discovering that I had 57 lip liners in my stash; 16 of which were still in their plastic wrapping. Shameful. What's more shameful is that after hours of swatching and comparing and swatching again I could only find 13 that I was willing to part with. Sigh. Plum and nude/brown lip liners like dem is my kryptonite.
